Agastache rugosa - Korean Mint

Product Code: AGA-RUG-X
Shipping: Calculated at Checkout
$7.99

Lavender blue flowers in shorter spikes, wrinkled leaves, longer flowering season and attractive to pollinators.

Grows to 3' tall x 1.5-2' wide, blooms from July to September, upright structure and licorice scented leaves. Prolific bloomer, hardy in zones 5 to 9. Still attractive butterflies and honeybees, but for better pollinator support vote for similar 'Blue Fortune' or A. foeniculum.

Grows the best in full sun or just a little shade, in somewhat drained soils with medium moisture to drier. In clay, especially wet clay, will be short lived and can rot over winter. Unfortunately often mislabeled and sold as the native Anise Hyssop - Agastache foeniculum.

Great companions could include Achillea, Baptisia, Coreopsis, Echinacea, Eryngium, Liatris, Monarda, Nepeta, Rudbeckia, Ratibida, and other sun loving perennials.

Great perennial for sunny borders, cottage gardens, pollinator or butterfly gardens.

This is seed propagated cultivar, so it may be used as annual, that will self-seed (in cold areas or heavy soils).

Pot size : square 3.5" x 4" deep perennial pot
