Alchemilla eryhtropoda - DWARF LADY'S MANTLE

Product Code: ALC-ERY-X
Shipping: Calculated at Checkout
$7.99

Cute and tidy groundcover from Balkan, tough and long-lived perennial. Award of Merit by RHS (Royal Horticultural Society, UK).

Clumps reach only 6" of height and can spread in time up to 2' wide. Chartreuse flowers fade to reddish-green, flowers in late spring to early summer. Bluish-green leaves hold water drops after rain or morning dew droplets.

Sun or half shade, average soil with average moisture. Dwarf Lady's Mantle prefers moist, but drained soils, but it can handle clay or sandy soils and established plants are fairly drought tolerant. We've tried it here in hot and humid Indiana (Bloomington, zone 6, with dry summers) on clayish, leaner and drier soil .....and it was doing fine, except it did form smaller clumps. In hotter climates (zone 7/8), we recommend half shade or dappled sun.

Suitable for zones 3 to 7/8.

Deer and rabbit resistant.

Easy to grow and disease free small groundcovering perennial for the edges, rock gardens, troughs, bigger containers. shrubs edges or woodland edges. Can be combined with majority of common perennials and grasses. After flowering may be cut back for fresh new leaves. In optimum conditions may seed a bit.

Pot size : square 3.5" x 4" deep perennial pot
