Culture: full sun (cooler areas), mostly sun, half shade. Average soils enriched with some organic matter - moderately fertile to fertile. Adaptable to many soil types. Avoid waterlogged soils.
Moisture Needs: average (medium to medium-dry), to slightly moist, adaptable.
Origin: Europe - Alps and Pyrenees, comes from higher attitudes, but does better in non-alpine condition (in comparison to nearly identical Alchemilla alpina)
Deer/Rabbit Resistant: yes / yes
Attracts Butterflies or Pollinators: no/ honeybees, potentially some small native bees
Attracts Hummingbirds: no
Pot Size: 3.5" wide x 5" deep pot
Plant Combinations: Better for north-eastern and northern states. Good for rock gardens, troughs, long paths and patios, small rain gardens. Low maintenance plant.Can be combined with various smaller rock garden plants or small cultivars of Amsonia, smaller Aster, Coreopsis, smaller hardy Geranium, Heuchera, small Nepeta, Origanum, shorter Penstemon, Creeping Phloxes, shorter Salvia, Satureja, Sedum, Stachys, Stokesia, Veronica, and shorter ornamental grasses.
