Amsonia 'Halfway to Arkansas' - BLUESTAR 'HALFWAY TO ARKANSAS' (better round shape and uniform foliage)
'Halfway to Arkansas' has a superb, round shape, uniform narrow foliage, and great yellow fall color. For the best fall color plant in the full sun or half sun (6+ hours of sun).
"The foliage is a glossy deep green and uniformly needle-like. Pale blue flowers cluster in May. Rounded mounds top out just over 48" tall and wide. Yellow fall color comes a bit later than the other Amsonias." - Brent Horvath, Intrinsic Perennial Garden (Hebron, IL), the plant breeder and nurseryman who introduced this beauty.
