Amsonia x hybrida 'Blue Ice' - AMSONIA 'BLUE ICE'
Amsonia 'Blue Ice' is a superb, drought tolerant perennial from the dogbane family that's a shorter and more compact form of Bluestar. It has darker blue buds and flowers that bloom later and last longer (late spring, early summer).
Provides dense and ground-covering growth, ornamental leaves, and a nice yellow fall color.
Long lived, easy and pretty perennial that's a perfect choice for edges, flower beds, rain gardens or woodland garden edges, and for small- to bigger-scale gardens or public spaces. It can be used as a ground cover and looks best when planted in groups or masses.
