" ‘Dancing Wind’ is an easy care cultivar with a striking display of colorful foliage from late summer until frost.
The summer foliage is yellow-green, accented with red. As the season progresses, the foliage reliably turns from red to deep scarlet.
‘Dancing Wind’ is shorter than its parent plant (Andropogon gerardii ‘Indian Warrior’), and tends to stay more upright.

Upright growing grass, reaching 5.5-6' of height and 2' of width. Flowers are reddish (August-October), but the foliage color makes the main show. The full effect comes with mid summer and continues till frosts (or further).
best in full sun, in any soil but wet.
Hardy in zones 4 to 9.
Deer and rabbit resistant. Heat, humidity and drought tolerant (once established).
Goes well with many common perennials, both native or introduced.
