This cousin of the North American Aruncus diocus is a smaller, shrubby-looking perennial from Korea, flowering with creamy plumes. In the fall, the foliage assumes varying, gorgeous shades of yellow and orange.
It is recommended for cooler zones; it doesn't like the heat of the south. The foliage declines quickly if the soil dries out.
Nice ground cover or edging plant. Best for partially shaded areas of rock gardens, border fronts, woodland gardens, woodland edges, and shade gardens.
