An upright perennial with clusters of pale lilac to whitish, fragrant flowers, aromatic minty leaves, and stems that do not branch much. This plant can bloom for very long time.

Provides excellent pollinator support, offering pollen and nectar to a variety of bees, butterflies and other insects. Good source of nectar for adult monarchs.

Best in woodland gardens, shade gardens, naturalistic plantings, moist woodland edges or clearings.
