This native woodland perennial grass spreads very slowly and forms clumps that have a light, airy structure. The leaves are gray-green; the long panicles of satin-silver flowers often flop to one side and turn brown-yellow with age. 

Nottoway Valley Brome adds delicate detail to any woodland garden, half-shade garden, naturalistic planting, and can be used for naturalization.

Also called satin brome. The genus name is derived from the Greek word bromos, a term for oats.

    All of my native plants are healthy and had well developed root systems when I planted them. I'm sure they will grow well and attract pollinators.
