Dense, ground covering grass with late summer flowers and striking coppery-pink fall color.
Similar to the popular 'Karl Foerster' grass, but much smaller.
Blooming Time: from mid summer to early fall, brown-yellow flowers
Size: 2-3' tall x 3' wide, in time grows into slightly wider than taller clump
USDA Zones: 4 to 9
Culture: full sun to half shade. Average soils, moderately fertile to fertile. Adaptable, but avoid waterlogged soils. Heat and humidity tolerant.
Moisture Needs: average (medium to medium-dry), to slightly moist, adaptable. Established plants tolerate some droughts.
Origin: hybrid, Asian origin
Deer/Rabbit Resistant: yes / yes
Attracts Butterflies or Pollinators: no/no
Attracts Hummingbirds: no, but attracts small song birds
