$8.99

Showy, upright bluebell featuring grayish-blue flowers with a darker eye.

Short-lived perennial or biennial.

Did surprisingly well in our humid and hot summers. Forms rosettes of primula-like larger leaves and blooms the following year.

Blooming Time: early summer (June/July)
Size: 2-3' tall x 0.5-1' wide
USDA Zones: 4 to 9
Culture: full sun, half-sun, half-shade, average soils with average moisture, fertile soils, drained soils.
Moisture Needs: medium
Origin: Spain, Portugal
Black Walnut Tolerant: yes
Deer/Rabbit Resistant: should be resistant to both, but it all depends on the pressure
Attracts Butterflies or Pollinators: small pollinators, butterflies
Attracts Hummingbirds: yes
Pot Size: 3.5" x 4" perennial pot (1.22 pt/580 ml)
Plant combinations: This plant did well in our half shade bed, but didn't really reseed as it should. So it may be wise to collect some seeds for the next season. Can be combined with most of perennials and grasses in sun or half shade garden.
