Heavy and long-blooming cultivar with a two-toned look due to the unique feature of non-dropping spent flowers. Pink flowers fade to deeper rose-red. Flowers from June till frost.
Heucher villosa hybrid = increased heat and humidity tolerance, often better drought tolerance too.
Blooming Time: June - first frost
Size: 8-10" (20" with flowers) tall x 20" wide clumps.
USDA Zones: Hardy in zones 4 to 9.
Culture: Best in half shade or light shade, dappled shade. In cooler areas tolerates full sun. Average soil with some organic matter, average moisture. Organic mulch is beneficial.
Moisture Needs: Average moisture. Don't plant in waterlogged soil.
