Showy and easy perennial. Large white flowers with blue spots inside bloom in early summer and features low mounds of fresh green leaves.

It meets in bloom time and looks good with the yellow colors of Achillea 'Moonshine', Coreopsis, Oenothera, and Rudbeckia missouriensis, with the orange flowers of Asclepias tuberosa, the purples of Callirhoe, and the shorter cultivars of Echinacea. Other good companions can be Dianthus, Heuchera (in drier, half shade), shorter bearded Irises, Penstemon, Thymus, Teucrium, Satureja, Saponaria and medium to smaller grasses like Koeleria, Sporobolus, Muhlenbergia, Stipa, shorter Schizachyrium.
