Echinacea x hybrid 'Baja Burgundy' - CONEFLOWER 'BAJA BURGUNDY'
Hardy hybrid coneflower with compact, upright, well branched habit. Burgundy red flowers and higher flower coverage. Narrow leaves show parentage of narrow- leaf coneflowers which leads to better tolerance to drought, heat and humidity.
Forms wide, nearly groundcovering clumps.
Gained 3.8 stars at Mt. Cuba trials and was 6th most favorite pollinator plant (didn't reach higher score due to aster yellow).
All-America Selection (AAS) winner in 2020.
