'Tres Amigos' offers 3 colors on one plant - flower opens orange, matures to bright red and fully developped flower is burgundy red.
Starts to bloom erlier than other varieties.
Blooming time : May/June to July/August
Size : 18-20" tall x 20-24 " wide
USDA zones : 4 to 9
Culture : full sun, average soil with some drainage (add coarse sand, fine gravel), drained soil, drier clay. The coneflower hybrids do not like acidic soils and winter moisture. Tolerant to shallower soils.
Moisture Needs : medium to medium-dry, dry, tolerant to summer droughts
