Bushy, upright growth, coarse leaves.
Full sun, half shade, average soil with some organic matter. Wet soil, medium-moist to medium. Clay tolerant, does well in moist sandy or gravelly soils too. Adaptable.
Hardy in zones 3/4 to 8/9.
Probably result of random cross-pollination of two unnamed selections of Eupatatorium, dicovered in a greenhouse environment in Rijpwetering (Holland, 2003). Patented under PP20320, unlicensed propagation is prohibited (since 2009).
Deer and rabbit resistant. Black walnut tolerant. Attracts butterflies, native bees and honey bees.
Suitable for sunny or half-shade flower bed, smaller urban garden, rain gardens, pollinator or butterfly gardens. Combine with blue Agastache cultivars, Amsonia, Asclepias incarnata, Chelone, Echinacea purpuea cultivars, Persicaria, Phlox, Physostegia, Rudbeckia, and many other perennials or grasses like Calamagrostis, Panicum, Pennisetum (where safe).

I don't know how well they will grow but I was very please with the condition and size of the plant. Packaging kept the plants nice and secure.

I ordered this plant last fall, it came back beautifully after the winter and is about to bloom now.
