$8.99

Nice filling perennial or groundcover with pink flower in early to mid summer. Our plants are seedlings, so more or less variable.

Award of Garde Merit by Royal Horticultural Society in Britain (RHS).

Grows moderately fast to 24" of height and width, forms mounds or sprawling mounds. Flower peak is in May-June/July. Sporadically blooms till September - especially if cut hard back after first flush of flowers, which will encourage new fresh leaves and blooming. Semi-evergreen leaves in milder climate.

Full sun to half shade, average soil with average moisture, adaptable (optimum is medium rich, and somewhat drained soils - don't plants in waterlogged soils).

In hotter climate may need some little shade or afternoon shade.

Hardy in zones 4 to 7. Native to Western Pyrenees - border of Spain and France.

Deer and rabbit resistant. Attracts honeybees.

Best as a filler in the front or in the middle of flower bed, or as a groundcover both in sun or half-shade or woodland edge. Can be combined with many common perennials and grasses. May seed here and there.

Pot size : square 3.5" x 5" deep pot
