Geranium pratense hybrid with chocolate-bronze foliage and blue-purple flowers. More vigorous than older cultivars with dark foliage.

Proven Winners plant.

24-26' tall x 28-30" wide clumps. Flowers in early to mid summer (in cooler areas up to late summer). Probably better performing in somewhat cooler areas, since this is a hybrid of European species of Geranium.

Full sun to half shade, average soil with average moisture to slightly moist soils, loam, soil with some organic matter, neutral to alkaline soils.

Deer and rabbit resistant.

Hardy in zones 4-8.

Patented cultivar under patent number PP32026, unlicensed propagation is prohibited.

Excellent filler that is not too big or too small, best in small groups or as a single plant in smaller beds. Great companions are common perennials like Alchemilla, Chelone, Echinacea purpurea hybrids, Hemerocallis (daylily), herbaceous Hibiscus hybrids, Geum, Paeonia, Iris (both bearded Iris to more moisture loving Iris like I. sibirica), Phlox (tall and hybrids), Leucanthemum (Daisy), Lilium, Sanguisorba, Thalictrum, and many medium to taller grasses like Carex, Panicum, Pennisetum (where not invasive), Miscanthus (where not invasive), Molinia. Or with small flowering busehs like Abelia, Deutzia, Hydrangea, Weigelia, etc.

Pot size : square 3.5" x 4" deep perennial pot
