$6.99

A very showy and underused native perennial, Helianthus mollis has big yellow flowers, very hairy stems and leaves, and a long flowering season.

One of the shorter perennial sunflowers, it forms clumps that slowly spread by rhizomes and can create bigger colonies. Very drought, heat, and deer tolerant. Attracts butterflies, and birds feed on the seeds.

The pot arrived nice and full and the roots were well developed and healthy. This is the 2nd one I ordered. First one was just as excellent. Love US Perennials ?

Ordered 14 of these last year to colonize a hillside with dry, poor soil. They flowered in the first year and are looking great again this year! They seem to love the spot and will hopefully outcompete the invasives!

First year I ordered from here and it will not be the last! I ordered 2 of these and several asters and they all arrived healthy in perfect condition. These are nice size starter plants with awesome roots and I know they will bloom for years to come. All the plants that I received were Beautiful healthy plants.
