Vigorous hybrid hellebore with single flowers with pale apricot flowers with a lovely rosy pink color on the backs.
One of the HONEYMOON® Series from Walters Gardens' hybridizer Hans Hansen.
18-24" tall and wide, evergreen leaves, flowers 2.5-3" in diameter, flowers somewhat drooping.
Half shade, full shade, deep shade, adaptable to many soil types, including clay. Average moisture (medium or medium-moist) to medium-dry.
Hardy in zones 4 to 9.
Bee friendly, deer and rabbit resistant plants. Drought, salt and black walnut tolerant.
Pest, disease and trouble free plant. Damaged leaves can be cut off in late winter, before new fragile leaves emerge. Plant can be cut also back some after flowering, but usually it is not necessary.
Best in woodland garden, woodland edges, better closer to the path, where it can be observed in early season. Leaves are ornamental too and the plant can be used as structural perennial, if planted with lower groundcovers or carex matrix.
Goes well with many half shade and shade perennials, including Omphalodes, Brunnera, Disporum, hardy Geranium, Pulmonaria, Hosta, Pulmonaria, Polygonatum, Primula, ...

Plants for spring 2023
Everything arrived in amazing shape, as was my first experience last year. All of the plants were in a great state of maturity, again. Lastly, not only are plants packed well they are clearly packed with CARE. It's such a satisfying parcel to open. I will continue to order from US perennials for my growing garden.
