Product Code: HEL-X-WEDBEL
Shipping: Calculated at Checkout
$13.99

Hellebore cultivar with 2-2.5" wide, white, double and slightly ruffled flowers. Vigorous and easy. Great hosta companion.

One of the WEDDING PARTY® series from Walters Gardens' hybridizer Hans Hansen.

18-24" tall and wide, evergreen leaves, somewhat drooping flowers.

Half shade, full shade, deep shade, adaptable to many soil types, including clay. Average moisture (medium or medium-moist) to medium-dry.

Hardy in zones 4 to 9.

Bee friendly, deer and rabbit resistant plants. Drought, salt and black walnut tolerant.

Pest, disease and trouble free plant. Damaged leaves can be cut off at the end of winter - before the new fragile leaves start to emerge. Plant can be also cut back some after flowering, but usually it is not necessary.

Best in woodland garden, woodland edges, better closer to the path, where it can be observed in early season. Leaves are ornamental too and the plant can be used as structural perennial, if planted with lower groundcovers or carex matrix.

Goes well with many half shade and shade perennials, including Omphalodes, Brunnera, Disporum, hardy Geranium, Pulmonaria, Hosta, Pulmonaria, Polygonatum, Primula, ...

Or with native ephemerals (like Jeffersonia, Mertensia, Sanquinaria,Trillium,  etc) or native woodlanders like Actaea pachypoda, Asarum, Caulophyllum thalictroides, Chrysogonum virginucum, Iris cristata, Maianthemum, Penstemon calysocus, Penstemon smallii, Phlox divaricata, Phlox stolonifera, Polemonium, Polygonatum, Stylophorum diphyllum,...and grasses like Carex or Hakonechloa.

Well packed, and easy to unpack! Often vendors use so much plastic film to ensure that plants and soil stay in the pot, that getting it off damages the plants more than shipping would. Nice, full plants with great root systems. Not over potted, or root bound. I would purchase plants from this vendor again.
