Ideal plant for rain garden, moist spots, banks of your pond, up to a shallow standing water or can be tucked in flower bed with medium-average moisture, especially on heavy soils that hold moisture well.

Attracts Butterflies or Pollinators: bumblebees are the main pollinators. Host plant for caterpillars of Chalcedony Midget Moth), and Buckeye Butterfly, sometimes even Baltimore Butterfly, (feed on the foliage).
