Very adaptable workhorse, that can be tucked into any sunny or half shade flower bed.
Fast growing and somewhat groundcovering. Leaves stay partially evergreen.
Blooming Time: May/June, and reblooms in late summer/early fall (if the temperatures are a bit cooler)
Size: 6" high x 12" wide clumps

Culture: Sun to half shade, average soil up to heavy clay soil, very adaptable to soil conditions. Fairly drought tolerant, but in long terms of summer droughts may appreciate some additional water
Moisture Needs: medium, medium-dry once established
Origin: Selected by Brent Horvath from Intrinsic Perennials (Hebron, Illinois) in 2014, as a seedling of open pollinated Prunella vulgaris 'Under The Sea' (female parent). Plant was patented in 2019, under PP31876.

Attracts Butterflies or Pollinators: yes - attracts honeybees, bumblebees, butterflies. It is a host plant for Clouded Sulphur butterfly.

Plant combinations: Universal plant, best used in small groups, for edges, as a filler or groundcover. Beds, pollinator gardens, rock gardens, rain gardens, woodland edge gardens. Very adaptable, so can be used with variety of common perennials and grasses - preferably with smaller or medium sized.
