Blunt mountain mint - native plant throughout eastern north America - grows  in open moist woods, meadows, and bogs. It makes slowly spreading clumps with bright green very aromatic leaves, and 2 foot stems are topped in mid to late summer and fall with clusters of pink flowers surrounded by beautiful silvery bracts.

Bees, butterflies, wasps, and a myriad of other insects find mountain mint to have irresistible nectar and pollen. It attracts by far, the greatest number and diversity of pollinators of all our plants.

Mountain mint is easy to grow in full sun or light shade. It prefers average to moist conditions, is drought tolerant once established.

The aromatic foliage is a real delight - plant it where you or your pets might brush past it frequently.

Perfect plant with high ecological and ornamental value, coarse upright structure that stays long into winter.  For borders, woodland edges, cottage gardens, meadows, natural area, herb garden, butterfly or pollinator garden. This perennials is used for example at Lurie Garden in Chicago, designed by famous landscape architect Piet Oudolf.

    Wow! This mountain mint arrived looking great! They are a terrific value given the size of the plants and their great condition upon arrival in the mail. Such a good pollinator plant, attractive, and smells divine!

    My mountain mint order arrived quickly and very safely packaged. The plants are beautiful and already had some flowers. I'm excited to see the grow over the next few years.
