Flowers for long time from June to September and is an excellent cut flower.
Full sun is the best, average soil, medium moist to dry. When the soil is not too moist or too fertile, the plant lives longer. Adaptable and easy to grow, tolerant to clay. Deer and rabbit resistant.
Attracts butterflies.
Can be found in all states, except Nevada and Arizona. Hardy in zones 3 to7.
Best in flower bed, cottage gardens, pollinator gardens, for naturalization on sunny woodland edges or in borders.
