Modest, slender plant. Grayish leaves and creamy-white flowers on thin stems tha float above the ground.
Best as a smaller filling plant in natural looking flower bed, or combined with plants with bigger leaves and flowers.
Plants are not very long-lived, but will persist by moderate self-seeding. Long flowering season and pollinator friendly!
Blooming Time: June/July is the main flowering time, but a few flowers will continue until early fall
Size: with flowers 14" tall x 10-12" wide, the rosette of divided leaves stays at the ground
USDA Zones: 5a to 9b
Culture: full sun, average to well drained soil (sandy, rocky, average, loamy). Somewhat drained soils are the best. Avoid waterlogged and poorly draining soils.
Moisture Needs: medium (average), medium-dry to dry
Origin: Russia, but this shorter selection was made in the USA at the University of Georgia. Introduced by Jelitto Seed Company in 2007
