USDA zones: 4 to 8

Culture: full sun, half sun, half shade. Average soil with average moisture to drier and drained soil, poor soil, rocky, gritty, sandy soils. Avoid wet and waterlogged soils.

Moisture Needs: medium to medium-dry, dry, tolerant to summer droughts, heat and humidity

Origin: 2009 Brent Horvat's introduction (Intrinsic Perennials, Hebron, Illinois). Patented under PP21833, propagation for commercial purposes is prohibited.

Deer/rabbit resistant: no/no (depends on the deer/rabbit pressure, it's browsed whee overpopulated)

Tolerance to black walnut: yes

Attracts Butterflies or Pollinators: yes - some butterflies, honey bees, some native bees

Attracts Hummingbirds: no

Plant combinations: Edges, rock gardens, larger containers, roof gardens, troughs, crevice gardens, pollinator garden.
