Culture: full sun, half-sun, (will tolerate light shade), average soil, clay, gravelly soil, sandy soil. Drought tolerant. Suiatable fro sandy soils too.

Origin: southeastern and southern USA (AL, AR, FL, GA, IN, LA, MD, MO, MS, NC, OK, SC, TN, TX, VA)

Plant combinations : Due it's adaptability canbe combined with many plants in many habitats or gardens - from dry (xeriscape) to woodland edges, pollinator, burd gardens, wildflower gardens. It is structural, but also quite transparent plant - ideal for the middle part of the bed or as a background plant.
