Asian counterpart of native Thermopsis caroliniana. A bit shorter and growing wide, reminds of wide spreading baptisia.

Pale yellow flowers, grayish leaves.

Size: 2.5’ high x 2-3’ wide, spreads by runners

Culture: Sun, partial sun, average soils, adaptable to sandy, loam-clay soils. Drought tolerant and quite tolerant to heat and humidity.

Origin: native temperate regions of Asia (Kazakhstan, Siberia, Mongolia, western and central China, Nepal), where can be found in steppes, river valleys, along roadsides
