Vertical perennial with late summer/early fall blooms.

This cultivars is often mislabeled as Veronicastrum virginicum 'Red Arrows, but we have verified with the breeder, famous Dutch plantsman Coen Jansen and 'Red Arrows is a seedling of Veronicastrum sibiricum!

Usually 4' tall x 1-2' wide (in optimum condition up to 5'). Full sun, partial sun are the best, half shade. Average soil, loamy soils, wit average moisture to medium-moist. Soil shouldn't dry out.

Flowers emerge in dark pink-red color from July to early September, with the peak in mid-late July. Leaves have some copper-red tinge.

Hardy in zones 4 to 8.

Deer and rabbit resistant, attracts some pollinators.

Veronicastrum sibiricum is native to China, Japan, Mongolia and Russia.

Best in flower bed with consistent moisture together with Helianthus, Phlox paniculata, Eupatorium, Helenium, Hemerocallis, Sanquisorba and taller grasses like Panicum virgatum of Andropogon gerardii. Good cut flower.

    Plants arrived looking great, no broken stems and the roots filled the pot. I am VERY happy with Oder, I will order again if they have what I need!
